Photo of the Week: Let It Snow

First snow accumulation of the year, everyone!  This past Saturday, our neck of the woods saw a whopping 3″ of snow; kids: find your snow boots, adults: find your car’s ice-scraper/snow-brush combination.  Meanwhile, the house’s new roof got to experience its first snowfall:

And as long as we’re declaring inanimate object firsts, it was also the new house paint color’s first time near snow.  I think the color looks quite handsome against the snow, don’t you?  The areas where we got the fascia up also look quite fabulous.  Alas, this snowfall will be short-lived; the temperature will be back in the 50s by Thanksgiving.  And that’s fine — we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the snow over the course of the next several months!
